Modec is an electric vehicle maker base din the United Kingdom. They specialize in zero-emission electric vehicles for a range of commercial applications. They are also known to be much quiet than standard gas-powered commercial vehicles. Business who use Modec products also are able to avoid the congestion charges, operator licenses and road taxes that most other commercial vehicles operators must deal with in Europe.

These vehicles can travel as much as 100 miles on a single charge and can reach a top speed of 50 mph. They are also built for hauling and can transport up to a 2 ton cargo load. To recharge the vehicles they only need to be plugged and then left in the garage over night to power up. Modec electric vehicles are currently in use in the fleets of many large commercial carriers.

Modec offers a wide range of model types including chassis cab, dropsied, and box van. The chassis cab model is ideal for jobs that require a customized load area for hauling various types of trailers. The dropside model provides a vehicle with a low flat load area to make unloading easier and it can haul up to 2 tons. The box van model offers a spacious 2 ton cargo hold that is totally enclosed and protected from the elements.
